Little Bits!

Day #27, I can’t believe a) how fast the month of November has been going by and b) that I have actually managed to create 27 different holiday cards so far. I believe this is actually a Christmas Miracle! Hahaha!

So this card came together based on little bits of paper I had laying around. We ALL have these! I used the Beautiful Bouquet dies, Season Wreath and Cup of Christmas dies to create the ‘wreath’ elements. The gold glitter wreath is cut with two stitched circles. The sentiment is from the Yummy Christmas stamp set and a few gold sequins completes the card! Isn’t that amazing! The wood grain embossing folder is the perfect background as I was picturing what a wreath would be hanging on. I hope you are inspired to create something amazing with your little bits!

Elfie is in the house!

Elfie decided he should make an appearance at least once during 30 Days of Christmas cards this month! This adorable Elf was inspired by Karen Duke, the first Canadian Million Dollar Achiever! Karen is such a warm and giving woman, its no surprise she helped design an Elf who embodies giving, charity and a warm spirit. I used our amazing Stampin’ Blends to color Elfie but the added touch is the Puff Paint on his ‘fur’ lined suit. I added a touch of Wink of Stella as well as I think all elves have a bit of sparkle to them. I think this card is simple and a relaxing way to spend a morning or afternoon, colouring and blending! The sky is the limit with the colors you can choose, however if you have been following along than you know this is a favorite color combo of mine! Granny Apple Green, Poppy Parade and Pool Party for the #win!

Hot Chocolate Cup o' Christmas

I created these super cute hot chocolate treat pouches for an upcoming Pop Up Shop that I am participating in and I wanted to share them with you, of course this is Day # 24 of a Christmas Card a Day, so I had to make a coordinating card as well. The belly band on the pouch is from the Come to Gather DSP, the Cherry Cobbler ribbon is from the Night Before Christmas Suite and of course the cups and the Reversible Cup of Christmas Bundle! I think they are just adorable!

Holiday Shaker!

I decided to create a whole BUNCH of holiday themed shaker cards! Using the Foam Adhesive Strips to create the ‘shaker’ section made this task easy peasy! The background DSP is the Come to Gather paper from the Holiday Catalogue. I stamped the frame using the snowflake image from the Free Skate stamp set and the die cut snowflakes are from the Frosted Frames die. Tis the Season is cut from red foil paper using the Jolly Season dies. I went though my stash of sequins and used up all of those—let me tell you, it was quite satisfying to have two empty containers when I was done! I added in a pinch of the Ice Stampin’ glitter and punched a bunch of red stars out with a long retired star border punch. The Twinkle builder punch would be a close substitute! I hope you enjoy Day 23 of Christmas Cards!

Everyone does love a good shaker card—even better when it is Holiday Style!
