Memories and More!

Years ago Stampin’ Up! had partnered with Becky Higgins and her Project Life concept to introduce pocket style scrapbooking to our stamping’ audience. When the partnership ended Stampin’ Up! created their own line, Memories and More. I think they have done an amazing job with this product line. The price point is awesome and they are always thoughtful in the embellishment and product add-ons that you can order to take this form of memory keeping to the next level. Yes, you can keep it simple but that is not the Brenda way…if you have attended any of my classes you know this as #TRUTH! I have been running pocket style scrapbook classes for several years and would like to think I have almost perfected my craft! I offer a 6 month running class series and a couple times a year I offer an all day event. The En Route bundle (sadly now retired) is my feature for my all day class on Sunday! I wanted to give you a sneak peek of what the girls are coming and hopefully peek your interest to try my next class series!

Scrapbooking Tip #1

Something I hear a lot in regards to memory keeping is that people just don’t know where to start. If you are seasoned card maker or a newbie stamper, I often find scrapbook page inspiration from my cards. Try looking at your 12x12 as a ‘card front’. It is after all, just a bigger canvas! Here you can see how I took this card (inspired by a project in the new annual catalogue) and recreated it as a page layout! Often we have more space so we can add in extra phrases, layers or embellishments onto our pages too.

Who loves a rainbow?

I know I absolutely love a rainbow and when I can make something with a color scheme it just makes my whole heart happy! I was so excited to play with our new In Colors (Roccoco Rose, Pretty Peakcock, Terracotta Tile, Seaside Spray and Purple Posey) and add them into a rainbow lineup! I love how amazing our colors all look together! This layout was actually quite quick to put together using the Tailored Tag punch!
